Seemant Sewa Foundation values the support of its donors and strives to ensure transparency in all donation-related activities.

Donations

Donations made to Seemant Sewa Foundation are generally considered voluntary and non-refundable.

As donations are immediately allocated towards charitable, healthcare, educational, and community development activities, requests for refunds may not be entertained except under exceptional circumstances.

Eligible Refund Requests

Refund requests may be considered only in the following situations:

  • Duplicate donation due to technical error.
  • Incorrect amount charged due to payment processing error.
  • Unauthorized transaction reported by the donor.
  • Any other exceptional circumstance reviewed and approved by the Foundation.

Refund Request Process

To request a refund, the donor must contact the Foundation within 7 days of the transaction date.

The request should include:

  • Donor Name
  • Registered Email Address
  • Transaction ID
  • Donation Amount
  • Date of Transaction
  • Reason for Refund Request

Refund Review

Each refund request will be reviewed individually.

Approval of a refund request shall be at the sole discretion of Seemant Sewa Foundation after verification of the circumstances and transaction details.

Processing Time

Approved refunds will generally be processed within 7–15 business days.

The actual time required for the refund to appear in the donor’s account may vary depending on the payment provider, bank, card issuer, or payment method used.

Monthly Donations and Subscriptions

Donors enrolled in recurring donation programs may pause, resume, or cancel future recurring donations through the subscription management page provided by the Foundation.

Cancellation of a recurring donation prevents future charges but does not automatically entitle the donor to a refund of donations already processed.

Failed Transactions

If a payment fails or is declined, no amount will be collected unless the transaction is successfully completed through the payment gateway.

Any disputes relating to payment failures should first be reported to the Foundation and, where appropriate, the payment service provider.

Changes to This Policy

Seemant Sewa Foundation reserves the right to modify this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time.

Any updates will be posted on this page with the revised effective date.
